Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Mechanic Apprentice to support the maintenance and repair of our fleet of concrete cutting equipment and vehicles. This hands-on role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing routine maintenance on concrete cutting tools such as saws, drills, and trucks.
• Help diagnose and repair mechanical issues under the supervision of the lead mechanic.
• Conduct regular equipment checks to identify potential issues and ensure operational safety.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance and repair activities.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure work meets regulatory standards.
• Assist in ordering and organizing parts and supplies for repairs.
• Support urgent repair tasks to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with tools and machinery
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced mechanics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver's license preferred
